Welcome to the RedStrype signup page.
To qualify, you MUST have had an account on Reddit for at least 30 days, some karma and activity on the account will benefit you.
We are a tightly knit community and want to be building with people for quite some time. This is an SMP server, NOT creative (therefore you must MINE to build!) We are ONLY looking for DEDICATED players! Our community so far has a bunch of dedicated and return players to our server. This is something that I would like to see CONTINUE into the future! It would be to your best interest to indicate that you plan on playing on our servers for long periods of time.
We also do account background checks. We do reference your name to the WorldOfMinecraft master ban list.
We have TONS of photos and even videos our members have posted on youtube and imgur within our Subreddit, so sift around! Cartographs are rendered on a weekly basis, and I'm putting up a google maps like viewer for us up on our redstrype.com site.

Basic rules
You must ABSOLUTELY agree to the below rules. These are STRICTLY enforced.
(This will undoubtedly be updated, it is up to you to keep checking back here!) We are extremely strict on everyone enjoying themselves and their creations on RedStrype. All people who break these rules will be banned. No questions asked.
- - You are at least 18 years of age.
- - Absolutely no 'greifing'. This simply means, do not TOUCH what has not been created by yourself. See that house? see that bridge / tunnel / torch on a side of a wall? DON'T TOUCH IT. Make your own! (You can!)
- - No excessive swearing / LOLSpeak please. There are kids on here, and as I understand they may know their share of curse words, it's just polluting the chat log for everyone else.
- - No spamming. This means messages over and over. This can be judged by the moderators on what they deem as spam. Quite simple: Keep your messages as if you were actually speaking in your day to day life. If spamming is how to talk in your day to day life, you're getting banned. Plain and simple.
- - No hacking, abusing ANYTHING in RedStrype. This covers ALL areas. If you're deemed as an abuser, you will be banned. If you're caught hacking, you will be banned.
- - No mass burning of trees or other objects. Lighters are banned. Period.
- - Please please please PLEASE no excessive exploring! I understand when a server grows, the map will grow. My only request is that people just don't go on one-directional or mass-directional excursions. RedStrype would like to have a neighbor system, and for people to be extremely far away from one another, it doesn't work out well (Plus, it puts excessive strain on the server and resources, which can adversely effect other connected user's gameplay).
- - This server has many things blacklisted. There are somethings you cannot do such as setwarp, etc. Our moderators and I set those on our own digression and per what the community wants to have added in whole. New members will not have access to buckets.
- - We have many plugins in effect to prevent griefers, etc. We have a zero tolerance policy for people who act like idiots, and people who just want to do nothing but make other people's builds and gaming experience less than ideal. As such, we remove people from our whitelists and remove them from our servers if we get complaints. As such, report anything that you deem inappropriate.
